profile-004I am a consultant specializing in helping GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) organizations. Having more than 15 years of professional experience working in and with the latter three types of organization, I love to find how their missions intersect and to help organizations build bridges between those worlds. My professional strengths are in project management; grant writing assistance; assessment and data management projects; cataloging and digitization projects; and documentation review and writing.

Professional Organizations:
Special Libraries Association (SLA)
Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP)
Society of Florida Archivists (SFA)
Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA)

– Master of Science in Library Science – Clarion University of Pennsylvania
– Bachelor of Arts in English – Florida Southern College

What my friends know about me:
I love to craft and jump from sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, and occasionally tatting. I had a blog once upon a time where I shared a mix of crafty and professional things. To be honest, I have more UFOs (unfinished objects) in my craft closet than finished since I give most of my items away.

When I’m not crafting, I enjoy reading, mostly science fiction, historical fiction, dystopian YA literature, and the occasional well-written non-fiction. My Netflix queue is filled with similar genres (plus the Great British Bake Off), and I love to try to confuse the “best bets” algorithm to keep it on its toes.

I am a Florida native, as is my husband, and we’re enjoying living close to family. Even though I only live five minutes from the beach, I haven’t had sand between my toes in years. Our cat Tabby (who is, ironically, a Calico) loves the warm Florida weather and lizards. Dark chocolate and a good red wine are my favorites.
